Hi, Welcome to Once Upon My Wedding. We are sort of a new company. Actually, we are not new at all, just newly organized, named, logo’d and put together.
I am Robin DeLorenzo, an Event Producer, Planner, Project Manager. I love being part of events and I love the crazy that comes with each one too. For me, it never gets old. Even after 30 years of producing events, each project today is new and fresh and excites me from start to finish.
I began my training as a young kid, maybe 7 years old. Throughout my childhood my mother owned a catering company and multiple restaurants. I helped where I could and watched her cook, serve, plan and promote. All through college, I worked for an off premise high end catering company that did private parties and weddings in mansions. I held every position from Server to Bartender to Maître d’. After college, I worked for AT&T, Lucent Technologies and Avaya fine tuning my event producing and project management skills. I produced everything from intimate product launches, team-building events and beach getaways to world wide announcements, concerts, sales & industry conferences, and trade shows. After 18 years, I left to be a mom and work for myself.
Five years ago, I came back to the wedding world and began producing bridal expos as NJ Bridal Expos. Over these same years, this has led to working for friends, other companies and myself on dozens of weddings as an Assistant, Planner, Day-of Coordinator and Maître d’. Made me remember how much I really love working with weddings and, most importantly, I am really good at it.
So here we are, organized and structured with a web site and my first blog post. Welcome to Once Upon My Wedding.
